The Imprint Project

Our Story

I've always loved animals

That’s never been something I’ve had to think about — it’s just always been part of me.

But growing up, I was also told something else.

That because of my allergies, working with animals probably wasn’t realistic. That unless I grew out of it, it would always be difficult… and maybe just not the right path for me.

So I didn’t question it. I just accepted it.

As I’ve got older, I’ve realised something about myself.

I’m someone who builds.

I like creating things from the ground up. I like structure, ideas, and figuring out how something should work — not just how it looks, but how it feels and how people experience it.

I’ve always been drawn to design, to organisation, to taking something that feels unclear and turning it into something that makes sense.

And more than that, I’ve always known I wanted to do something meaningful — something that isn’t just functional, but actually has an impact.

For a long time, those two parts of me felt separate.

Then at some point, it shifted.

I stopped thinking about what I couldn’t do… and started asking what I could do instead.

Because being part of something doesn’t always look the way you first imagined it.

When I started looking more closely at animal spaces — sanctuaries, rescues, small independent businesses — one thing became really clear.

The work being done is incredible.

But the way it’s shown to the outside world often doesn’t reflect that.

Not because it’s not important — but because the people doing the work are busy. They’re focused on the animals, on the day-to-day, on keeping things running. And rightly so.

Which usually means content, storytelling, and digital presence fall to the bottom of the list.

And that creates a gap.

Because if people don’t see something properly, they don’t fully understand it.

If they don’t understand it, they don’t connect with it.
And if they don’t connect with it, they don’t support it.

That’s where this comes in.

The Imprint Project is built around bridging that gap.

Taking the work that’s already being done — the care, the effort, the stories — and helping present it in a way that actually reflects its value.

Not by overcomplicating it.
Not by turning it into something it’s not.
But by bringing clarity, consistency, and intention to how it’s shared.

What I offer is a mix of creative and practical support, from content creation such as photography, short-form video and visual storytelling, to helping structure what to post, when to post it, and how everything works together.

I also support the more practical side, including simplifying websites, refining messaging, and bringing consistency to overall digital presence.

At its core, it’s about helping people present what they’re already doing in a way that’s clear, considered and genuinely connects.

Paid work with individual brands and businesses allows me to extend that support to charities and sanctuaries that may not have the resources to invest in it themselves, creating a model that gives back as it grows.

It might not be the most obvious route, but it’s the one that makes the most sense.....

and in many ways, it’s more meaningful than anything else I could have done.
